Vi Peel: A Facial Peel for Darker Skin Types!
Watch as Innovations patient Mary Kay Evans undergoes the Vi Peel, the first facial peel to be recommended for darker skin types. We follow up with the patient after the treatment to see the results.
Innovations MedSpa offers a range of aesthetic and spa treatments, from peels and facials to laser hair reduction and intense pulsed light. Like our medical procedures, these options are supervised by Dr. Bill Johnson and our staff of highly trained skin consultants. We offer effective, clinically proven products and treatments, and are continually exploring new options to improve patient outcomes.
Medical-Grade Facial Peels
Chemical peels are excellent treatments to improve the texture and smoothness of skin. Peels can be used to treat specific conditions like acne, or may be used to improve the appearance of healthy skin. There are a great many peels available, suitable for various skin types and with varying levels of intensity. Our staff will discuss these various options with you to help you select the type of peel that is the best fit for your skin type and your desired result.
Collagen Stimulating Facials
Our collagen stimulating facials can be customized to your skin type. All of our facials include cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, and an individualized treatment mask. Your skin will be left feeling cleaner, firmer, and smoother.
Moisturizers, cleansers, facial peels and sunscreens available from physicians can provide a greater effect than those from spas or salons. Innovations MedSpa carries a variety of the best available products, including our newest addition, Neova Copper Peptide Therapy, and products from Jane Iredale Mineral Cosmetics.
Laser Hair Reduction
The MeDioStar laser can perform permanent hair reduction on all skin types and body areas. Darker hairs respond better. Since each hair follicle contains 3-7 hairs, multiple treatments are necessary for optimal results. Medical evaluation is important for unusual hair growth patterns.
- Removal – 6 treatments
- Maintenance – not necessary
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
IPL evens out the color and tone of skin. By targeting hemoglobin and melanin, IPL removes brown and red spots. Small spider veins and flat “age spots” also respond well. The procedure provides the best results when followed up with microdermabrasion after about a week.
